Parque das Nações

Parque das Nações is a Lisbon’s modern neighborhood located at Eastern Lisbon. Most of Parque das Nações was built by innovative architects for the 98 Expo but nowadays there are offices, residential buildings and touristic spots such as Oceanario, one of the biggest aquariums of the world.

The attractions also include a casino, eater gardens, a viewing tower, a marina, restaurants and one of the world’s longest bridges. Even the Estación de Oriente –the train and bus station- has an extraordinary modern structure.

Getting to Parque das Nações from Equity Point Lisboa is pretty easy. You can get there in a short ride on bus, metro or train. And don’t forget to visit Oceanario famous Otters. Amália and Eusébio are even Youtube Stars!

Gay Pride at Barcelona, Madrid, London and Lisbon

In the next few days there will be huge parties all around the world celebrating the Gay Pride. The main day is the 28th of June, which commemorates New York’s Stonewall riots on 1969, which started all the gay activism as we know it.

Summer Festivals at Hyde Park
