When and where?
May 12th to 28th sees tents put up in the famous Letna Park and over 150 national and international beers on tap. There will be traditional costumes and thousands of litres of pive – or beer – being drunk. There is a tent devoted to foreign or international beers, but the best place to be is in the Czech tasting tent where you can try the amazing local ales.
They will also be serving food and snacks all day including beer cheese, sausages and pickles.
The festival has plenty of live music performances taking place – similar to the Bavarian Oktoberfest with traditional costumes and Czech snacks, and a programme for each day of different acts. There will be a variety of shows taking place, with local bands and some surprises also. Check the programme here
With over 10,000 people expected there are plenty of tickets available, but make sure you don’t miss out if you’re there for selected dates! Tickets are 100CZ for all 17 days of the festival, and valid until midnight. They also have a VIP ticket that you can reserve online here.
Enjoy the festival – Na zdraví! (Or ‘cheers’!)
