Equity Point Hostels wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2010 has been a huge year for Equity Point Hostels. We’ve started the adventure of opening new Hostels in new Countries to give our customers the opportunity to choose the quality of an Equity Point Hostel in their trips.

In concrete we opened Equity Point London in March, a charm hostel close to Paddington Station and a few minutes away from Hyde Park. We also opened Equity Point Lisboa in November, a fascinating Hostel just in the city center of Lisbon, a magical capital in the south of Europe. We’ve also announced a new location in Madrid that will open in February, a better and bigger Hostel in the city center of Madrid.

We hope we can bring you even more new hostels on your favorite locations this 2011.

We are always trying to please our clients and give them the Equity Point experience every time they travel but that’s not possible as long as we don’t have hostels everywhere –but we’d like to-.

We want to solve this problem opening new Equity Point Hostels to allow every traveler to enjoy affordable accommodation with the best quality standards that distinguish Equity Point Hostels.

So, stay tuned because in a few days we’ll have a new Equity Point Hostel. Where will it be?

Last Saturday the 5th of June the Equity Point Hostel in London became officially a reality. The hostel has been opened since last March, but the official opening was on the 5th of June. The rendezvous was at 5 o’clock and we welcomed our guests with a glass of Catalan cava. It was a great pleasure to see that some of our colleagues from other hostels, suppliers, and friends were there to share with us this great moment. Before starting with the speeches, our guests had the opportunity to visit the rooms and the common areas of the building. They all said they were impressed

The Deputy Ambassador of Spain in the UK, the landlord of the building, Mr Gareh and our CEO, Oriol Badia took care of the speeches and to officially welcome everybody. Once the serious part was over, Equity Point offered a casual dinner with a mixture of English and Catalan food like pà amb tomata, Queso Manchego, and jamón ibérico. Continue reading →
